Extrusion is a process that creates objects of a fixed
cross-sectional profile. Advantages of this process over other
manufacturing processes include the ability to create complex
cross-sectional aluminum profiles with excellent surface finish.
Generally, aluminum extrusions are then machined and or assembled
into finished parts and components.
